Visit Bluffton!

It doesn’t take long to discover that Bluffton provides excellent resources, services, comforts, and conveniences. Whether you are visiting, live here, or work here, the village offers wonderful opportunities. We hope you’ll explore Bluffton and make yourself at home.

Our location is fantastic: just 2 minutes from I-75 and near U.S. 30 in northwest Ohio, Bluffton is easy to reach and easy to return to! Many of our businesses are located in the downtown blocks anchored by our iconic town hall at Elm and Main streets. Food, shopping, and services are all nearby, including emergency medical care at Bluffton Hospital.

We are the Ohio home for two international manufacturing companies: GROB Systems and SumiRiko Ohio. U.S. manufacturers Tower Automotive and Diamond Manufacturing also have facilities in Bluffton.

Bluffton loves being a college town! The 65-acre campus of Bluffton University is central to Bluffton in every sense. A private university with bachelors, masters, and degree completion programs, Bluffton University provides vital educational resources. It also hosts many community events and gives residents and visitors access to cultural and recreational opportunities, including the Musselman Library, Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center, Grace Albrecht Gallery, and Yoder Recital Hall.

Bluffton’s excellent parks and recreation opportunities include an extensive--and growing--pedestrian and bicycle pathway system. In addition to playing fields, picnicking, and playgrounds at the Buckeye and Village parks, there are hiking trails at the Motter Metropark and Bluffton University Nature Preserve to enjoy. The university and Bluffton schools host local athletic events. The non-profit Bluffton Family Recreation center hosts recreational league play and includes a fitness center and classes.

Want to connect with Bluffton? The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce answers inquiries and provides networking for businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals. The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs supports start-up and new businesses with networking, mentoring, and educational opportunities.
